A native Washingtonian, Marcus (affectionately known as"DooDooh" Brown) became interested in stand up comedy after keeping all of his co-workers in the back of the staff meetings, all of the people sitting in hearing distance at church, and anyone inquiring "how life has been?," in stitches minutes after talking. No matter the situation DooDoohBrown is good for laughs (many times unintentionally) .A full-time idiot, Marcus decided to use his quick wit and ignorant since of humor to not only educate and inspire the youth but entertain and motivate adults.
Marcus' versatile, educated, and urban style of comedy has caused him to quickly become a fan favorite in the Washington, D.C. area sharing the stage with such famous comedians as Renaldo Rey, Bruce Bruce, Rickey Smiley, Tony Woods, Michael Blackson, JB Smoove, Gary Gulman, Joe Clair, Mike Brooks, Gary Gulman, and Chris Tucker. Bringing laughs to everyone he encounters, Marcus Brown has appeared at Teddy's House of Comedy, Zigs Comedy Zone, WiseAcres Comedy Club, the Comedy Dock, Baltimore Comedy Factory, the DC Improv, Jokers Wild, Five Seasons, Tuckers Comedy Club, Jokes on Us, Laugh Lounge NYC, Comic Strip Live, Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, UDC, George Washington, and Howard Universities as well as various clubs, bars, and venues along the East Coast. In 2007 Marcus was the comedic entertainment for DTLR’s Corporate Christmas celebration and was a DC Improv 2008 Funniest Comic Finalist. In 2009 Marcus appeared in a Sierra Mist online commercial showcasing his comedic talent. Marcus also was a TWO TIME Cratenfire Talent Contest winner.
